We’re Buzzing about this new arrival from Robosen, no “To Infinity” etc cliched headlines here!

They’ve WOW’ed us with their multi microchipped and server packed Optimus Prime, we really only scratched the surface with what it could do, transforming it Robot/Truck RPT over and over until we found our favourite bit, that he slumped down to the ground when depleted of battery – It is a joy of a toy. So, Robosen did their Hasbro partnership proud, adding a Grimlock to the line-up but, they had a Buzz Lightyear, a partnership with Disney, and the Space Ranger model was ok, but far from crowd-stopping, pleasing perhaps, for a few moments. It didn’t move, from it’s stand, limbs did activate but not to take a walk and the wings/steam was a decent addition, anyways, everything changed this week and our wallets became wearier but our grins became unmovable and sleep has become secondary. This Toy Story Buzz Lightyear is the dogs undercarriage, marvel at the multiple ye, mouth and head movements before moving on to the walking and talking, pre-program actions and skill combinations and to nearly top it off there is the ANDY on the underside of his boot AND he comes with a spare one for sticking your name on it. We’ve demo mode in blue to let him show off, green button to activate Spanish mode and the red to unleash all-manner of actions and bring it as close to the on-screen action you’ll likely ever see IRL. Servo-motors = 23, Microchps = 75, Componemnts = 3,000+, stands at almost 11 inches and ships with an authentic box as seen in Al’s Toy Barn. All this, dare we say it, for a not unreasonable £499 – Sure its a hefty top-line amount but it does alot, is really very lifelike, super-impressive, you’ll certainly have this one out to show just about anyone with a passing interest and very likely to find yourself having some moments with yours watching the franchise from the 1995 beginnings of this iconic animation.
