Up and Down for a century – Big Dipper celebrates 10 years in action

You simple cannot beat the thrill of a rickety ride, the clattering sound of wooden coasters far outstrips the smoothness of any modern white-knuckle ride. Sure the newer ones go faster and higher but these relics really knock you about in your seat, you definitely know you have been on one as at least one part of your body will remind you. Happy birthday to one of our favourites, The Big Dipper at Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
