Thames and Kosmos are going to need a new trophy cabinet

A hugely successful month of awards for Thames and Kosmos UK. Fresh from seven Toy of the Year nominations and Gecko Run being chosen as one of Time Magazines best Inventions of 2024, they’ve also won big at this year’s Blog On awards, with 14 trophies for the cabinet. Family favourite Gecko Run won Gold in the Kidult Award and Bronze in the Kidult kids choice award.This year’s Science Advent Calendar won Silver in the Influencers Choice and also shared Bronze in the Christmas award category with the Exit Advent Calendar: The Missing Hollywood Star.

Thames and Kosmos are known for their educational science kits as well as their award-winning game catalogue so were thrilled to take Gold in both the Educational Award and the Educational Kids Choice awards for their big box Chemistry Set, Chemistry C2000

Hero, the sound sensing robot took top honours with Gold in both the Electronic and Electronic Kids Choice awards.

The top Play Pretend Kids Choice Award went to the Spy Labs Forensic Investigation kit, which also won a bronze award in the main Play Pretend category.  As befits a star-studded array of awards, the Thames and Kosmos Planetarium Projector won Gold in the Primary School Kids Choice and Silver in the main Primary School categories.  Finally, the TK Telescope won Gold in the fiercely competitive Secondary School category.
