Spielwarenmesse we miss you

Spielwarenmesse – arty shots

Last week the team headed over to Nuremberg for the biggest toy fair on the planet. This small city is the world capital of toys and each year over 65,000 folk from the trade descend to marvel at the near 100,000 new wares on offer, over a million to see. It’s a pretty epic affair trying to cover all that is there, 12 halls (big ones) mean it is always advisable to try one of your scooter contacts for a loan of a two-wheeler for the five days you’re there. We’ll be bringing several trend pieces from the show plus spotlights on some of our highlights over the coming weeks. Suffice to say there is more innovation than we’ve ever seen, a great time to be a consumer of toys and in 2019 you’re spoilt for choice as a gift giver. All hail the Spiel, a most splendid affair.
