Pokémon Go(es) to London!

Pocket Monster fans rejoice! The Pokémon Company has just announced that, like the Paris before it, London will be getting a pop-up Pokémon Centre. Details are thin on the ground but we do know that it’ll be based in Shepard Bush’s Westfield shopping centre and that it’ll run from October 18th to November 15th this year.

Pokémon’s latest duo of games, Sword and Shield are set in a Britain inspired fantasy realm so this looks to be a well timed event. Pokémon Centres can be found worldwide but are in short supply,  Japan, Singapore and the US are as far as the little monsters have ventured until now.

This intrepid reporter has visited the Singapore branch and is happy to report that a trip to a Pokémon Centre is a joyous occasion. Expect plushies of every one of your favourite battling beastie and a fair few store exclusives to boot!
