NOFX LEGO video hits YouTube

American Punk band NOFX has revealed a fan-made LEGO music video for its new song Stoke Extinguisher.

NOFX held a contest inviting fans to make the official video for the punk tune and offered cash prizes to tempt people to enter.

One fan submitted a stop-motion LEGO music video, built entirely from the famous construction blocks. See it below.

The YouTube video description from NOFX reads:

“After countless submissions, and hours of watching ALL the vids in their entirety, and yes, we even watched the full THREE minutes of a slug crawling up a wall (thanks for that), we’ve narrowed it down to three winners. We’ll be rolling all three out over the next couple weeks and we’re starting off with a pretty cool display of LEGO wizardry.”

Although the NOFX LEGO video has not yet been crowned champion of the contest, we think it has a pretty good chance.

The LEGO video was the first to be posted, with the winner to be decided later.

“Once we’ve posted all three we’ll have you cast your vote on who the winner should be,” NOFX said.

NOFX LEGO Video

This is not the first (and won’t be the last) time a LEGO music video has been produced. There have been countless fan-made LEGO homages to famous classic songs, like this version of Michael Jackson’s ‘Beat It’.
