There have been mixed reviews on this latest incarnation of Monopoly with general opinion that it is a diluted version of the original with average gameplay about 30 minutes – some think this isn’t on to design a game to attract time-poor kids, we think it is an ideal way to get kids interested in the iconic board game. A backlash from fans at least saw that the Jail space wasn’t removed but popular brands are included as playing pieces including Coca-Cola bottle, McDonald fries and an Xbox controller. The aim of the game is to race around the board buying up brands as you go and stopping others from building their empires. We’re fans, there’s definitely room in the toy cupboard for a game that all the family can get to grips with and doesn’t drag on for hours. £20 HERE
