Reach Robotics, the creators of the world’s first AR gaming robot, have announced the upcoming launch of a dedicated education app. Operating alongside the existing MekaMon gaming app, Reach EDU will go live in Q1 2019.
Functioning with the MekaMon robot, Reach EDU will utlise MekaMon’s dynamic locomotion, personality and, in the future, AR capabilities to engage and inspire students. Launching with three core educational features including animation, draw and new visual programming suite, MekaCode, the app will include a missions-based progressive learning platform to create a robust and engaging learning pathway.
‘We saw some fantastic international reach for the launch of our EDU app as part of our TechUp partnership – even without actually exhibiting at the show. Inclusion on panels also ensured that we had profile in relevant topical discussions and were seen alongside leaders of the industry. As a UK business, it allowed us a foothold in US media during CES where it is all to easy to get lost in the sheer volume of products and content.’ Megan King, Reach Robotics
