Mattel adds to diverse Barbie line-up

As Mattel continue to strive towards a complete range of dolls kids can directly relate to the iconic Barbie brand has unveiled a new doll in its collection that represents children with Down Syndrome.

The new Barbie with Down Syndrome has been widely praised by disability rights advocates, who see it as an important step towards greater representation and acceptance of people with disabilities in society. They hope that the doll will help to raise awareness and break down stigmas around Down Syndrome and other disabilities.
