Hot Wheels and Formula 1 launch a Limited-Edition Die-Cast

A new product line from two iconic brands brings F1 racing to 1:64 scale, we’re told it is for kids and adults alike, we know who holds the credit card security data, Kidults, your passion for Hot Wheels is now extended into the world of F1.

The first product drop is a one-of-a-kind collector die-cast and is available now on Mattel Creations. A limited-edition Formula 1 car  with special Hot Wheels racing livery to celebrate the partnership, it includes bespoke Real Rider wheels with interchangeable tyres, full-metal body, chassis and new F1 casting. The Hot Wheels F1 die-cast also features the number 68 on the nose, giving a nod to the year Hot Wheels debuted. Inspired by the Hot Wheels “Original 16” designs, the car will come in a collector’s ‘Kar Keepers’ clamshell case to deliver the ultimate collector and racing fan experience.

All sounds pretty superb, apart for the K in Kar – But, that we’ll ignore, its already out there, only irritates us mildly.
