Furby the Infiltrator

Following the claims from Joanne McNally on her investigative podcast “Did Furbys spy on us” – Part one of a look into so called Furby Phobia inevitably leading into some other toy based conspiracy theory content creation by an idea barren BBC podcast commissioning department. Are Tamagotchis taking over our Towns? Could Play-Doh be an answer to the UK’s pothole pandemic? Were the Cabbage Patch dolls just a big cover up for something far more sinister? Anyways, so the creators of Hasbro weren’t putting up with this accusatory audio diatribe and decided to waste, spend, no invest some of their hard-earned to prove Furby was no agent, double, undercover or estate one of any kind – No, he was, is a force for good and underneath his vibrant outer-garments is nothing more than an electronic entertainment machine. Employing the scientific services of an esteemed educational outlet they took X-Ray imagery of a Furby interior (a random sample we hope) and shared the results which you can, if you’ve made it this far, take a look at and fear FOMO no longer.
