Christmas countdown box(es) – 24 windows of wonderment await

Without a doubt this year has seen the biggest variety of advent calendars we think ever offered. From your Food and drink based ones thought to oh-so-many beauty branded ones who knows where to begin. There aren’t so many which are creative really, plenty of variations on a theme, we can’t get excited about a nip of gin or nibble of cheese, confectionery ones well, we’d just go straight to 24. We’ve seen crisp ones, chilli sauce ones and a noodle one, sex toys and sock – no thanks. So, we’ve gone with one based on our still favourite film ELF, some film props inside and reminders of Buddy one-liners. The Funko?Hasbro one is pretty good with a line-up of festive toy brand characters. National Lampoon is a fairly tricky one to get hold of, mainly due to the fact I’ve gifted a fair few of these and, leading from behind is the spend one at almost £100 from Yume but packed with Netflix goodness and, for anyone into one or more of the streaming giants actual hits this is right up your strasse.
