BIG Build – Our favourite toy shop get the LEGO treatment

Lego Harrods 14

We spent a fair bit of time last year wandering around Toy Kingdom at Harrods, all in the interests of research you understand. The Danish brick department was okay, a couple of decent sized builds in there for the delight of selfie taking shoppers, but they’ve just unveiled and area devote to LEGO that’s three times bigger than previously – And it is epic. In addition to having a wider range on offer each category gets it’s own specific space with 3D models  of City, Friends, Star Wars, Ninjago and Creator. The star is undoubtedly the Harrods model measuring in at three metres x 90cm x 120cm, made from 72,000 bricks taking the UK’s only LEGO Certified Professional,Duncan Titmarsh and his colleague, Kevin Cooper, six months to finish. Nice work chaps.
