You’ll get nine colourful ‘bits’, each one compatible with all the previous LittleBits modules they’ve made. Each piece is colour-coded by function. The circular LED matrix is green (output) and the light sensor pink (input). All the pieces snap together using magnets and can be put inside this rather splendid looking red/gold handed gauntlet – Sadly, you can’t wear the entire thing. The Avengers Hero Inventor Kit comes with over 18 STEM inspired activities, each one explained with the companion app.

Inside the app Ant-Man and the Wasp will teach you about speed and movement with the accelerometer. The Hulk challenges are based on sound, while Iron Man focuses on the LED matrix and Black Widow create, light that turns on automatically in the dark and finally, Black Panther and his genius sister Shuri, cover some light coding theory.
