Selfie drone from Revell set to land

cme

Making its debut at CES earlier this month the C-me selfie drone is a smartphone sized flying machine from renowned model makers Revell. Part of the US Hobbico outfit they’ve been in the R/C flying machine business for a while but, smaller than the much lauded LILY and far less pricy than any of prosumer drones out there, the C-me could prove a big hit for the firm. An eight megapixel camera allows for stills and video footage and the unit is app controlled which, amongst flight commands, allows the pilot to set different flight modes. At the press of a button the C-me automatically lifts off and floats at a pre-selected height of three or five metres and another on-screen order brings the selfie drone back to its command base, you. Available in April the C-me will cost about €200.
