Classic kids TV stamps set to be a sell-out

We’ll admit it has been some time since we put pen to paper and set about scribing a letter to anyone, a couple of postcards from foreign climes on occasion but we’ve fallen out with snail-mail of late.

We’re quite keen on revisiting the old-school of pen and paper though just so we can get our hands on this quite splendid new range of stamps from royal Mail featuring 12 of the most iconic kids TV characters.

The kids TV stamps line-up is – Andy Pandy, Ivor the Engine, Dougal, Windy Miller, Mr Benn (who deserves a range of his own), Great Uncle Bulgaria, Bagpuss (40th birthday this year), Paddington Bear, Postman Pat, Bob the Builder, Peppa Pig and Shaun the Sheep.

We spoke to Andrew Hammond a suit over at Royal Mail Stamps who said: “For over 60 years, Britain’s children’s TV characters have brought cheer to generations of viewers. More importantly it has presented us with a cast of characters that, like the memories of the programmes themselves, remain with us throughout our lives.”

We couldn’t agree more Mr Hammond, grab your classic kids TV stamps HERE where you can also bag some specially framed editions.
