LEGO announces NASA Shuttle Discovery and Hubble set

Joining forces with former astronaut Dr. Kathy Sullivan set number 10283 has launched. Available from 1st April priced at $200 this NASA Space Shuttle Discovery build is a thing of beauty. Launched squarely at the 18+ market the 2,354 build is stacked with detail, a most shelf-worthy piece indeed which we can;t imagine kids running around the room, this in hand making rocket sounds. This one is unashamedly to be enjoyed whilst watching Coneheads, Solaris, 12 Monkeys or Alien.

Commenting on the set, Dr. Kathy Sullivan said, “I was thrilled to see the space shuttle in LEGO form, and was very impressed by the amount of intricate detail they have managed to recreate from the module where we used to sleep and eat. Looking at the model, it was great to reminisce about my experiences in space. This LEGO model is a great way for LEGO builders and space fans alike to get excited about space travel.“
