Here it is, the first-ever brick built Grand Piano from LEGO. Fresh out of the LEGO Ideas operation this set is the latest aimed at the “adults” with £319.99 spare cash and 3,662 pieces of spare time. It is an intricate build and at over 8.5” (22.5cm) high, 12” (30.5cm) wide and 13.5” (35.5cm) deep when closed it’ll certainly be shelfworthy enough to remove family framed photos to make space for. You can also use the LEGO Powered Up app to play the piano itself complete with a motor and working keys – You’ll be a musical maestro, whether you want to control the keys or set it to auto-play for one of the ten pre-set songs inside.
Imagined by music teacher and LEGO aficionado Donny Chen, this set was designed as a way for him to combine his passion for music with his passion for building. To add to the excitement and personal feel of the build, the LEGO Ideas Grand Piano even features a music sheet composed by Donny himself.
