    Outstanding Rotor Based RC

    the Proper Chopper

Over the past year we’ve had just about every indoor flying toy you can buy pass through Toyology Towers, all of the ones made from Polystyrene were touted as good value as they would withstand a few bumps and bashes, the trouble being that it is all these sub-standard choppers ever did. The more expensive and sturdier versions really weren’t up to much flying wise, sure with some practice you could have a decent spin around the front room but over sensitive controls spoilt the early “out-of-the-box” fun we sought. This week, along came the SYMA 107, a metal framed number, impressive looks, we opened the box, expectations limited…What a flyer..a built-in gyroscopemeans out of control spinning is history, point this the way you want to go and you actually go that way, no fussing about with trimming settings for ages just up and away. This three channel chopper is ultra responsive, we’re taken flower heads off, flown under desks and landed on upturned teacups, all this from a crew of pilots who have previously been woeful in the air. This is the most outstanding piece of kit for aerial acrobatics and lunchtime flying missions you can buy in the sub £100 category and it’s only £30 – Buy two, and buy them sharpish from www.red5.co.uk
