Fortaan tackled by Alex Hewett

This Fortaan heroica game took longer to make than the others but it was very easy to follow instructions. this game is the best out of the Heroica series because there are loads more monsters and you have keys to collect to unlock doors, you also get a helmet of protection to wear which gives you one more health. I played as the knight-he is new to this series and really cool, our first game of this took about 15 mins so we didnt get bored from it taking a long time and each time I play it is always different. I give Fortaan herHoica 10/10 – best of the series!!!

James Gee tackles Fortaan

This is the bigger of the Lego Heroica games
and the one which I enjoyed the most as it takes more time
to build and I enjoy building the games just like
lego. The aim of the game is to get the Goblin
King and to get keys to open the doors. When you
land on potions  you are able to gain speed
and luck and you can
also roll another turn for strength to defeat.
There seemed to be more choice of different outcomes
with this game.
It takes around 15 minutes to build but I found
I am getting faster at building the Heroica games
now but would prefer it if the instructions were more
pictures rather than having to read all the instructions.
This is by far my favourite of the Lego Heroica games
and there are more weapons than the other games.

Fortaan – Alex Hewett takes on the biggest Heroica game

This is the biggest Lego Heroica land that there is and the biggest lego game that I have ever played. It takes a long time to build, so this is definitely not a game to start if you only want to play for a short while. The build took me about 1 hour to do from start to finish, but it is well worth the wait. The game follows the same format as Draida and Waldurk, but the extra size means that it is much easier to customise and change the layout to make the game harder or easier. The game has more characters and you can play with 4 people making it much better than the smaller games. I like the part of the game where you can play one the monsters side in Battle Heroica. This is good because you can control all the monsters in the world and the aim of the game is to kill the Heroes and stop them reaching the end of the game. I give this game 9 out of 10, it loses a point for being more complicated to build which may make it difficult for younger players to play

Thomas’s Fortaan Review

I was very excited to see a parcel for me as been waiting for the next game, the box was a large square box Fortaan is the game, first impressions was it’s a lot bigger than the other sets , more pieces and lots of detail gates, doors , locks, keys flags and more men making the game more challenging to play, I quickly started to put it together which I found harder as different pieces for the one board were all in different bags, so I had open all of the bags up to start with, Once open I put all the pieces in the box and started to build it, the instructions were easy to understand and I just copied the pictures in the booklet. It took me about 15/20 minutes to build ready, I enjoyed building the game up , it looks really cool and couldn’t wait to play it.

Fortaan – Quick build

Owen in the hotseat…

I really enjoyed playing with my new heroica sets as it made a big really cool game-with lots more ways to play. there were lots of evil guys and spiders to try and beat and lots of different ways to go now the games are joined together. the instructions were easy to follow and it took about 10 mins to build all the games and join them together. i give lego heroica 10 out 10 again again!!

What do you think of Waldurk Alex?

I much prefer this to DRAIDA because it is a much larger game and you can make more changes to the gameplay to make it last longer. The game does take a lot longer to build because it has double the amount of pieces that DRAIDA has. I would recommend this game mainly for boys, but everyone would enjoy playing it.My favourite character is the dark druid because he has a cool uniform and awesome strength – the heroes always take a long time to kill him. The game is much better when you combine two LEGO HEROICA lands together, I have played with DRAIDA and WALDURK and it makes an awesome board with different monsters and terrain to cross. The game can be changed to either simply combine the two lands or you can mix the lands up to make a unique board game each time you play. This is the best ever game, BRILLIANT.

Heroica is a good board game in which you have to defeat goblins, collect keys and buy weapons to win the game. Although it consists of many pieces, it is an outstanding game.It is as much fun building the actual game as playing it! To make it better,I would maybe change the weapon price from 3 gold down to 2 gold as on the easy board there are only 3 golds.  Apart from this one point, the game couldn’t be better and therefore I am rating Heroica 9/10! and i can’t wait to get the other add on games!

Thomas Langley with Waldurk and Draida

This was the first time I have ever had a Lego game.
The game Draida was easier to build than Waldurk as it never had as many peices making it a good first game to play, it doesn’t have as many monsters
Waldurk was quite hard to build at first but I got the hang of it quickly and the pictures  showed me what to do easily were really easy to understand
Waldurk was more pieces and new things like spiders, magic doors and more monsters in the set.
I also like the way in Waldurk you can get gold and buy weapons to help you.
It is  good as it doesn’t take long to play once built and you can make your own game up by making a different paths I think that was really good as it can be different and you’ll not get bored
I really enjoyed this type of game as it is different and i liked building it, I liked playing it and cant wait to add and more and make a bigger game out of it to play with my brothers and my friends.
