It could be our favourite LEGO range ever, well its in the top three, which is no mean feat, we live, eat and sleep in Danish brick. For this reason we’ll be at the LEGOland Discovery Centre in Manchester during 22nd to 28th August to checkout the Alien invasion of the place. The entire miniland willbe over run with the little green men and their impressive range of craft, taking over Manchesters town centre, perhaps dropping into the shrunken Corrie Street set. Get yourselves down there that week, dress up in green (that’s mums and dads too), comps asnd games galore to bag yourself some Alien stuff to keep – Check out HERE or more details

One of Britain’s most promising London 2012 Olympic hopefuls has been transformed into a giant action figure to become a real-life Power Ranger toy. Aaron Cook, 20, the current British Taekwondo Champion and a strong contendor for a gold at London 2012 is the only person outside of the TV show to wear the iconic red suit and the first ever honourary member of the Power Rangers. Tomorrow you can see him exhibited in a giant 3 metre by 1.5 metre toy box at Westfield shopping centre. The Olympic hopeful Cook said “I was mad about Power Rangers as a kid so my parents took me to a local Taekwondo club in Dorchester where I fell in love with the sport. The rest, as they say, is history. I’m hoping that by joining the Power Rangers I’ll help to inspire British children to follow in my footsteps, which will hopefully include a medal at the London 2012 Olympics.”

TV Burp – The Board Game

Inspired by the BAFTA award winning Saturday night “has us in stiches” prime time show with the UK’s favourite slaphead is the all new TV Burp board game. Activities and question cards are based around the world of telly and players will be tested on your own know-how on TV stars, play charades (with a TV Burp twist) and challenge your channel-hopping,  remote control controlling skills to see you can find what you’re told on TV before the clock runs out. Family fun with all the quirkiness of the TV show, if you haven’t sorted out which board game is for Boxing Day this one at £24.99 looks worth a punt.
