While this contraption isn’t going to win the Jamie Oliver Healthy Eating Award, you can’t deny the sheer nostalgia in just seeing one of these. A real, old school slushy drink maker…and now you don’t have to go to the local fayre/cinema/ice rink (why do they sell such cold things at ice rinks?) to get your hands on this delectable refreshment, simply set up shop in your own kitchen. We’re told it’s as easy as adding ice, water and a flavour… find out by getting yours here

Who were sent to prison in 1972 for a crime they didn’ commit? That’s right folk the crack commando unit which went on the run, known as the A-Team – If no one else could help, and you could find them, chances were you could hire them. These mercenaries may have brought much mayhem to saturday night TV but never once did anyone meet their maker! Anyhow, enough Jibba Jabba, the R/C A-Team van has arrived, a licenced replica of the souped up GMC machine, complete with pointless spoiler, working headlights, full function control and machine gun sounds – time to terrify the cat and tear up the front room. If you’re hovering over the buy button, wondering whether to part with the £29.99 necessary, let us assist in your final decision…It plays the theme tune too, that’s right laydees and gentlefolk, now all you need do is brush up on your MR T phrases and you’ll be transported to a time where the channels were fewer but the content a whole load classier. Form an orderly queue at Firebox.com

Bigtrak is Back

You may recall that we put Bigtrack at the top of our wishlist from Toyfair earlier this year, last night Bigtrak Jnr was sent high into the stratosphere by Firebox aboard this rather sleek looking rocket. The idea was to simulate a moon landing and after rocketing at supersonic speed to impressive heights Bigtrak Jnr was released and parachuted back into the Lucerne Desert in California. We’re impressed with the pictures and hear it’ll be landing online for purchase on the 2nd August  for £29.99

Piggy Puzzler

The gauntlet has been set.

The chaps at Firebox have sent us this piggy bank puzzle – which is great for the nostalgia of piggy banks but something tell us this little porcelain wonder is harder than it looks, even if it does bat it’s eyelashes at you.

We’ll keep you updated…
