Oh how we do love it when Lego and Star Wars come together in a beautiful mesh of brilliance and nostalgia, and this one is on our Christmas list this year. Of course the Millenium Falcon needs no introduction – rendering that little introduction there quite pointless – and it needs no explanation, you should just simply look at it and siiiigghhhh with joy. But we will explain it because that’s what we’re paid to do.
At a whopping 38cm wide and 10cm tall, you’re going to need a big shelf to house this multi faceted wonder which has so many working components that we’ve run out of fingers to count them on – opening hull, rotating canons and the like.
Of course at around £130, you better make sure you’re very very good between now and Christmas…

And if you find the Lego putting-it-all-together-ooo-where’s-that-tiny-little-piece-that-kinda-looks-like-a-thingy-whajamacallit-it’s-grey-and-has-a-whoojamaflip-oh-there-it-is a little tiresome. You could always use turn to the trusty Haynes Manual*
Written by Star Wars authority no less than Ryder Windham, for just £14.99 this nice little text even tells you how to drive the Falcon, with full outlines of the cockpit and weapon control systems. Amazoid.
*NB these products are in no way compatible, they’re just both very cool and have a picture of the same thing on them.
